The Department of Business and Sustainability, University of Southern Denmark (SDU), invites applications for a 10 % part time academic administrative position in the European Center for Risk & Resilience Studies as of January 1, 2025, or as agreed.
The department is organized into eight research groups and centers based on common professional interests among the members. For the open position, we are seeking applicants for our European Center for Risk & Resilience Studies (ecrrs.org), with activities in Esbjerg and Sønderborg.
What are we looking for?
We are expanding our center and are proud to announce the opening of a research support function aimed at enhancing the strategic coordination of our research portfolio and funding plans, as well as supporting the development of the center's back office over time.
As a part of the center the successful applicant will be tasked with a range of obligations at the department:
- Enhance Strategic Coordination: Assist in the strategic coordination of the research portfolio and funding plans.
- Support Research Initiatives: Collaborate with research groups to identify funding opportunities and support grant applications.
- Develop Back Office Functions: Contribute to the development and optimization of the center’s administrative and back office functions.
To qualify for the positions, applicants must be able to document:
- A proven relevant track record.
- Relevant education at a minimum of the B.Sc. level.

Appointment to the position will be in accordance with the salary agreement between the Ministry of Finance and the Danish Confederation of Professional Associations.
