About the Drug Product Manufacturing (DPM) Department
The Drug Product Manufacturing Team will consist of approx. 60 dedicated and enthusiastic people, when the filling suite is ready for commercial production. DPM will contain several teams covering Support including Wash & Sterilization, Formulation, Filling and Inspection. The common denominator of the teams is the acknowledgement and development of every employee and the diversity of the employees, who have different experiences and educational backgrounds, but collaborate closely on getting our medicine safely and quickly to the market.

Our ambition is that the Drug Product Facility will be a state of the art, with an automated isolator filling line and inspection line. All process documentation and EM samples are being executed as per relevant operating procedures. The Inspection Team is part of the Drug Product Manufacturing department within our Supply Chain, which provides e.g., Drug Product filling services to our customers. The department continuously strives to identify opportunities to improve systems and practices to optimize and streamline our operation.
About the Position
When working at FUJIFILM Diosynth Biotechnologies Denmark you will, besides from the tasks listed below, onboard new customers and products to the site, build a network across DPM and FDBD, support our site expansion project, and assist in finding new and innovative ways of working smarter in a complex everyday life.
As a manager in one of the DPM teams, you will provide direct leadership to a new established team of dedicated employees and you will have two Managers as colleagues and together you will provide leadership to DPM department and ensure that we work in accordance with our core values - trust, delight our customers, Gemba (go see), and Genki (enthusiasm). The department and our organization will continue to expand and adapting due to the site expansion. The position is a newly established position to support the exciting growth journey.
Your will be leading the Support inclusive wash and Sterilization team, with processes and responsibilities within (but not limited to): Batch review, Batch preparation, Material handling and flow, SAP and Logbooks. Your team will consist of Manufacturing associates and Support associates (academic’s).
You will be reporting into the Associate Director of DPM and be a member of the DPM management team
Your primary tasks will be but not limited to:
- Provide leadership and drive development of your team
- Set direction and structure, ensure motivation in the team, and prioritize tasks
- Manage a growing team and ensure the right competencies in the team
- Ensure cross collaboration and cross training for various tasks to ensure flexibility
- Ensure that we deliver in accordance with our agreements with our customers
- Ensure alignment with your peers across DP and build an efficient and high performing team
- Challenge status quo and drive a continues improvement culture
- Ensure the right quality level and cGMP compliance, and deliver according to our KPIs
- Proactively secure a healthy work environment with a safety-first culture
- Environment Health and Safety/AML for DPM
Professional and Personal Qualifications

The position requires a Manager with experience in both people management and the technical areas of production. You are not expected to be an expert in each area, but you must be able to act as a sparring partner for your team on the various subjects. Furthermore, experience with or professional training related to operational excellence and LEAN methodologies is an advantage.
As a person you are open, curious, and motivated by succeeding through your team. You meet and greet people with a smile and have a can-do attitude, and work with a humility and respect for the people around you. You have a pragmatic approach and look for solutions with an open and communicative approach, where you listen to understand. It is expected that you hold an academic degree within Pharma, engineering, etc. with experience from biotech or pharmaceutical industry. You have interest and knowledge of GMP and understands the requirements in a cGMP for Annex 1. You have excellent verbal and written English communication skills as English is our corporate language.
