Be part of the team attracting top talent for one of the world’s most iconic audio brands! The Talent Acquisition (TA) team is Bang & Olufsen’s internal recruitment function, where you will develop your skillset and business knowledge as you support hiring managers across all our functions and international offices.

This position is only open to full-time students at a Danish university whilst employed.

Key Responsibilities
As our new Student Assistant, you will key part of our expanding internal recruitment and talent attraction activities. Bang & Olufsen is growing and the TA team are responsible for assisting managers find, attract, interview and hire the best talent. The centralized TA function is newly established, therefore, you will be supporting long term projects, as well as oversee the candidate screening process.

  • Create and maintain candidate pipelines for future projects – updating with top talent regularly to keep Bang & Olufsen ‘front of mind’
  • Produce recruitment insight to support hiring decisions
  • Produce ‘talent maps’ for key functional areas
  • Support talent searches through various digital channels, LinkedIn, Stackoverflow and similar
  • Write compelling job advertisements, speaking directly with hiring managers to understand their hiring needs
  • Support managers in screening applications, arranging interviews, as well as training managers on our recruitment systems and process.
  • Support administration
    • Positing jobs on our career page and other channels
    • Scheduling interviews
    • Set up of psychometric tests
    • Candidate referencing

What you bring
We are looking for a gregarious ‘people person’, someone who is always curious and enjoys interacting with individuals from all backgrounds. We imagine that you are studying for a bachelors in HR or business and have an interest in pursuing a HR career.

Moreover, you bring

  • A curious mind-set, always wanting to learn and improve your knowledge.
  • Process oriented, able to follow a clear work-flow process and navigate a database.
  • Open-minded – able to listen and interpret information from different sources.
  • Confident and comfortable engaging with stakeholders and candidates from different backgrounds and at all seniority levels.
  • Organised, you will be required to have a clear overview of all projects with which you are involved.
  • Adaptable and experienced delivering multiple tasks at once.
  • Experience with LinkedIn and other international job-boards is a valuable addition
  • Fluency in English is mandatory, both written and speaking. Danish is a valuable addition.

What we offer
The TA team is currently 4 people based in multiple locations, UK, Struer, Lyngby and Sofia. We are a highly collaborative team and enjoy connecting and supporting each other, exchanging ideas to improve how Bang & Olufsen can find the best talent. TA is part of the wider People & Culture function at B&O; 20+ people based across Struer and Lyngby. Additionally, you will interact with managers at all levels as you support them in hiring the best talent.

Compensation: Hourly rate

Location: Struer, Denmark or Kongens Lyngby, Denmark.

Start date: As soon as possible.

Travel: Approx. 5%
