Automation Tech Lead

We are looking for an Automation Tech Lead with a strong business understanding for our Automation Software department. Do you see the bigger picture and can see our projects through to the finish line. Then you might be our new colleague.
The position
As Tech Lead you will be a key person in projects with our global customers in the wind industry. You will be the customer’s competent sparring partner, and you must ensure a high technical level that matches the projects as well as manage and coordinate the professional efforts in project implementation. You will be the link to the management and have the bigger picture on projects when it comes to time estimates and budgets.
Your primary work areas will be:
• You will be responsible for the team and projects
• Ensure deadlines are met
• Responsible for quality assurance in projects
• Act as technical key person in projects on the software side.
• Prepare Functional specifications, Design specifications, and Storyboards.
• Coordinate within the professional area.
• Programming and setup of PLC, Safety, HMI, Servo.
• Be the link between projects and the management
• Communicate proactively internally and externally.
• Documentation in projects.
• Ensure product maturity on software.
• Work with Structured Text, Ladder, Graph, Function Blocks.
• Do version management and work in systems for structured task solving.
The position refers to Automation Manager in ENABL A/S and has a permanent base in our beautiful house of knowledge in Hedensted. It is also possible to work from our other locations in Ikast, Aarhus or Varde. As part of the position, some travel activity in connection with projects must be expected.
Professional qualifications
We imagine that you have a background as an electrician with superstructure, electrical engineer, automation technologist, machinist, etc. Throughout your career, you have built solid competences within PLC/HMI and preferably Servo programming and have extensive experience with Siemens S7/TIA. You have at least 5 years of professional experience in automation. Safety programming is included on the machines, so flair for this is an advantage.
As a person, you are systematic, trustworthy, work independently and you are determined to be part of a great team. Besides having a strong business understanding, you are comfortable taking responsibility for the team and projects. You can prioritize your time in a busy environment and are good at seeing the bigger picture. The position is versatile and demands attention to detail, and professional pride.
In addition, you are fluent in English in writing and speaking.
