Internal Controls Manager (Audit/Risk Management)

LEGO Koncernen

Job Description
Are you passionate about enhancing processes to manage risk effectively while adding real value? Do you want to bring your expertise to a company that values creativity, learning, and a shared sense of purpose?

Join us on our journey to expand our Center of Excellence, where you’ll play a key role in strengthening resilient, transparent practices that reflect our values and support our global mission. Together, we’ll build a culture that balances risk with opportunity and embraces improvement at every step.

Why This Role Matters
In this role, you’ll be instrumental in designing, implementing, and evolving a best-in-class risk and control framework for financial reporting. You’ll not only drive key initiatives but also influence our company culture by embedding a strong risk and control mindset across teams. Working closely with cross-functional stakeholders, you’ll help shape our approach to compliance, create value-adding controls, and optimize our processes to align with both industry standards (COSO framework) and the company’s mission.

What You’ll Do

  • Elevate Process Governance: Lead the enhancement of our risk and control matrix with an end-to-end perspective, ensuring process excellence and governance.
  • Advisor on Risk & Controls: Be a trusted partner for our stakeholders, providing insight, recommendations, and proactive guidance on risk and control improvements that balance compliance with process efficiency.
  • Influence at the Executive Level: Report key insights to top management on risk exposure, control effectiveness, and compliance, contributing to transparency and strategic decision-making.
  • Strengthen Audit Readiness: Support stakeholders during internal and external audits, helping to demonstrate a culture of compliance and robust control.
  • Inspire Cultural Leadership: Champion a culture that prioritizes risk management and governance, promoting high standards and aligning with our organizational values.

Why You’ll Love This Role
You’ll be part of a collaborative, global team dedicated to innovation and excellence. By working in the Analytics & Control team, you’ll drive real impact by connecting business goals with risk management initiatives. This role also focuses on sustainable practices, giving you the chance to contribute meaningfully to our organizational mission and make a difference within and beyond our team.

What We’re Looking For

  • Educational Background: Relevant degree (Cand. Merc. Aud. or similar) with at least 5 years in an international audit firm or a global organization.
  • Curiosity & Innovation: A natural curiosity and eagerness to understand complex processes, challenge the status quo, and seek improvements.
  • Expertise in Risk & Control: A solid foundation in 2nd Line of Defense activities, including designing and implementing controls.
  • Change Management Skills: Proven experience in communicating and training teams to foster a risk and control mindset.
  • Results-Oriented: A record of delivering impactful results, continuously growing your functional expertise.
  • Exceptional Communication & Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills, with a natural ability to foster team success through collaboration.
  • Ethical Leadership: Unwavering integrity, confidentiality, and commitment to high ethical standards.
  • Flexible Travel: Available for limited travel, up to 3 weeks per year.

Applications are reviewed on an ongoing basis. However, please note we do amend or withdraw our jobs and reserve the right to do so at any time, including prior to any advertised closing date. So, if you're interested in this role we encourage you to apply as soon as possible.
