Apply now for the position of Head of Advanced Therapies for Nordic and Baltic countries (NRB), role to be located in Finland, Sweden, Denmark, or Norway. This position reports to the Head of Zone NRB and is part of the Zone management team.

Advanced Therapies includes our interventional imaging systems which are also called image-guided therapy solutions.

You will be fundamental in defining and executing a localised strategy to position Siemens Healthineers as the key solution provider for Advanced Therapies within the NRB market. This is a highly empowered role, and the scope extends to full commercial “Profit & Loss”.

Your tasks and responsibilities:

  • Growing market share and meeting the orders, revenue, and profitability targets of the Advanced Therapies business. This should be realized through an optimised go-to-market approach, development of existing customer retention and competitive conversion programs, and the generation of new “value add” business models offering comprehensive solutions to our customers.
  • Developing and maintaining excellent direct relationships with key customers, while also building up references and greenfield sites within the zone. This will be essential as the owner of our Cardiovascular and Neurovascular growth vector initiatives in NRB.
  • Engaging in sales negotiations and maintaining excellent relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Identifying business development opportunities, including outside of current portfolio and own Business Area.
  • Devising and delivering winning customer presentations, solution concepts and demonstrations to the prospective customer’s schedule.
  • People management experience within matrix organization.
  • Ensuring that the team is appropriately resourced to deliver product support, both in the pre- and post-sales environments, along with Applications support, as required in agreement with Customer Service.
  • Comfortable working in a matrix organisation to construct, negotiate, and manage the fulfilment of annual Advanced Therapy budgets; this includes reviewing the business forecast monthly.
  • Championing omni-channel approach by delivering high-quality sales collateral and driving change management for a more data driven sales approach.
  • Leading and driving Value Partnerships, in the Cardiology space, as part of our NRB new ambition strategy.
  • Keeping up to date with current products and clinical trends to establish long-term market and product strategies.
  • Maintaining close liaison with Headquarter and Zone stakeholders, to support delivery of business objectives.

Your expertise:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent. Master’s Degree preferred. Engineering or Medical Technology education a preference.
  • High level of technical awareness of the interventional and surgical market and solutions.
  • Knowledge of the NRB market procurement practices in the healthcare sector.
  • Experience managing a P&L and ability to numerate with Commercial awareness.
  • Experience in planning and leading strategic initiatives.
  • Keen business acumen and ability to proactively drive account management to generate sales.
  • Skilled at building productive internal and external working relationships with well-developed interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to set a vision, lead change, motivate the team, and mentor others.
  • Experience of managing matrix teams, experience in talent development and performance management – leading and developing high-performing teams.
  • Excellent communicator, willing to learn, and the ability to positively influence.
  • Extremely versatile, flexible, resilient, and agile in adapting to changing business requirements.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Capacity to travel 30% of the time – within the zone and internationally.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
