Are you ready to support the area behind some of LEGO’s most beloved video content, like LEGO Friends and LEGO Ninjago?

Join LEGO as a Finance Business Controller, where you'll support the day to day operations behind global entertainment content like LEGO Ninjago and Friends, managing a 500m DKK budget with autonomy and growth potential for further career opportunities!

Core Responsibilities
Month-End, Year-End, and Budget Management: Lead and manage the month-end, year-end, and budget estimate processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting!

Budgeting and Forecasting: Provide insights and analysis on budget forecasts and variances, with particular attention to the 500m DKK production budget and associated content distribution revenue streams.

Revenue Analysis: Monitor and analyze the 100m DKK revenue from content distribution, working closely with sales and content distribution teams to assess performance and potential growth opportunities.

Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a trusted finance partner to cross-functional teams, including production, content distribution, and sales, building strong relationships and providing financial insights that support strategic initiatives.

Financial Modelling and Reporting: Build and maintain financial models to aid in forecasting, reporting, and decision-making, with a focus on key metrics and trends in video content production and distribution.

Process Improvement: Identify and implement opportunities for process efficiencies and improvements, with a commitment to enhancing accuracy and streamlining reporting practices.

Autonomous Decision-Making: Operate independently, managing tasks and priorities with limited direct supervision, while calling out key issues or strategic insights to senior management as necessary.

As part of the PMD (Product & Marketing Development) organization, the Entertainment Partners and Content department brings LEGO stories to life through high-quality video content, reaching millions of fans worldwide. In this role, you'll provide essential financial insights and support, ensuring that production budgets and content distribution strategies align with LEGO's growth and engagement goals. Your expertise will directly contribute to the success of beloved franchises, enabling LEGO to continue inspiring and captivating audiences globally.

Do you have, what it takes?
We expect you to bring 3+ years of relevant experience in finance or controlling, ideally within the media, entertainment, or production industries.

Analytical Attitude: Demonstrates a strong ability to analyze complex financial data with meticulous attention to detail, resulting in valuable insights for decision-making..

People Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and effectively collaborate with diverse collaborators across functions and levels.

Financial Systems Proficiency: Solid experience with financial reporting tools and ERP systems; proficiency in Excel and experience with SAP or similar systems is a plus.

Autonomy and Proactivity: Proven ability to work independently, take initiative, and manage several priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Aspiring: Motivated and eager to grow and advance in the finance field, with the potential to develop your career further.
