About the Role

Essity IT supports all Business & Global Units and aligns with Essity’s strategic business priorities. By engaging with stakeholders, we drive Essity's digital journey for sustainable value through innovative and cost-effective solutions. As an Identity Engineer, you will focus on Identity and Directory Services, including developing, automating, and maintaining this platform and related systems. You will have the opportunity to drive automation initiatives to streamline processes and increase efficiency within the Microsoft Directory Services suite and EntraID systems across the enterprise.

What You Will Do

• Design, implement, and manage automation solutions for Identity and Directory Services using advanced scripting in PowerShell to streamline repetitive tasks, enhance system security, and optimize performance.

• Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts for configuration management, health checks, and reporting on Active Directory, Azure AD, and related identity components.

• Collaborate with various teams to design automated workflows, enabling more efficient deployment, monitoring, and troubleshooting of directory and identity services.

• Troubleshoot and performance-tune directory and identity service components in cooperation with cross-functional teams.

• Act as a technical lead in IT projects, specifically in initiatives involving automation and scripting improvements in identity management.

Who You Are

• Security-Focused Automation Expert: Extensive experience creating, testing, and deploying secure PowerShell scripts to manage and automate identity tasks, ensuring adherence to security policies and protection of sensitive data across Active Directory, EntraID, and related services.

• Identity Security Advocate: Understand identity and access security requirements and are passionate about implementing secure, automated processes. Knowledge of Identity Governance and Administration frameworks is a plus.

• Minimum 3 years overall IT experience, with 1-2 years working with Microsoft Directory Services.

• Strong communication skills, with the ability to maintain open communication with employees, contractors, and managers.

• Customer-driven, team-player with a strong business and service orientation, proactive, and self-motivated with a positive ‘can-do’ attitude.
