Would you like to be part of a joint business and technology team located on the trading floor in Nordea Metro office? You will be responsible for providing data design patterns and integration that enable different systems to interact and exchange information across the whole bank. We are looking for an innovative Business analyst to work with our strategic data for the Markets and Traded products.

About this opportunity

Welcome to Data and Projects which is part of Markets Business Technology at Nordea. The team is responsible for providing data and integration solutions through messaging platforms (Kafka), standardized APIs, and operational data stores.

You will act as the link between our team and other technical teams and business areas, communicating the business requirements and data design in an accurate manner and helping to implement them on our systems with the right functionality for the business.

What you’ll be doing:

• Build up business understanding (e.g. analyse the business processes to enable the formulation of business requirements)
• Develop data formats and models for the financial transactions value stream in accordance with our data strategy
• Provide support to data providers in designing new operational data stores and public topics on Communication Layer, and apply changes to formatting and data structures.
• Support existing and new data consumers to identify the necessary data, to understand data formatting and structure, and to document potential issues in the available data
• In collaboration with other teams, ensure to improve data quality, increase data completeness, avoid duplications and continuously keeping the overview of data updated

Your experience and background:

• Relevant university qualifications or work experience
• Experience with Data Management and Integration an advantage but not a prerequisite

The role is based in Copenhagen, Metro office.
