We are building and commissioning a new and innovative large-scale manufacturing facility for purification of innovative pharmaceutical proteins to treat patients with serious chronic diseases. The Position
You will have the opportunity to make the most out of your talent and experience, by joining us from the start, and constructing a new manufacturing facility. You will join our diverse, international team in the current expansion project ‘PPV’, located in Kalundborg.
The projects you will be working on are of high strategic importance to Novo Nordisk and will have high visibility and support from Senior Management. This position requires a high level of stakeholder management across all organizational levels within the company.
Together with the Work Packages Owner (WPO), you will assist in implementing OT solutions for several technical tracks spanning across DCS, PLC, MES, AMS, Infrastructure/Security, PI and Quality, in collaboration with our technical leads.
In this role you will need to navigate between traditional waterfall project methods and the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), working closely together with the different agile delivery teams across the organization and our external partners.
Your responsibilities summed up:
- Manage scope, plan, cost and project risk
- Provide leadership, direction, guidance and coaching to the project team as a whole
- Negotiate and manage project resources with LoB management
- Establish the appropriate project governance together with project director
- Report and discuss project performance with the relevant stakeholders
- Drive the delivery of your systems in a timely manner, aligned with the overall project plan.
Qualifications
- A Master or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field like Software Engineering, Economics, Computer Science, Business Administration
- Strong project management experience from deploying or integrating IT/OT solutions in production areas
- Knowledge in ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library - Service Now) is an advantage
- Excellent communication skills, both spoken and written in English
- Strong stakeholder skills across all levels of organisation

About the Department
You will join the IT/Automation team in the Business Support department, PPV purification project in Kalundborg, Denmark.
The IT/Automation team consist of 35 employees who will implement, run and maintain the production IT systems. The production IT systems include a PCS system (800XA) and a MES/MOM system (PAS|X) as well as several PLC systems.
We will maintain our IT platform for our automation systems. The team is organised by subjects: System management, IT support, PLC support and automation support, which performs the daily support and maintenance tasks related to the IT systems.
