The Opportunity:
As a Support Engineer and Team Coordinator, you’ll not only provide technical support for our Point of Sale (POS) systems but also take on a pivotal role in coordinating and guiding your team to success. This dual role combines your technical expertise with leadership, ensuring seamless team operations while maintaining a customer-focused approach. Joining our international team in Warsaw, you’ll play a crucial part in helping our global customers — from small businesses to international corporations — navigate and resolve their challenges efficiently.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Act as a team coordinator, ensuring efficient task allocation, team support, and guidance to meet operational goals.
- Lead coordination tasks between customers, internal departments, and IT teams, both in daily operations and during emergencies.
- Installing and maintaining the software and interfaces of point of sale (POS) systems
- Receiving and processing hardware, software, network and communication problems in the area of POS systems and related applications, locating and rectifying faults or initiating escalation proceedings
- Creation and updating of operating manuals, instructions, checklists and training documents
- Participation in projects, in the introduction of new services and in events
- Performing coordination tasks between customers, internal departments and IT departments in day-to-day operations and in emergencies
Who Are We Looking For:
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in IT support, with some leadership or coordination experience preferred.
- Completed vocational training, preferably in a technical field
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant professional experience in a comparable position as IT support
- Affinity for IT is required
- In-depth knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel)
- Knowledge of ServiceNow, Jira, Confluence and SAP Business Objects tools and network technology is an advantage
- Resilience and flexibility
- English on professional level
