About the job

As Director of Project Portfolio and Business Development

, you will:

• Portfolio Leadership: Drive and oversee the project portfolio across business areas, ensuring a clear, prioritized development roadmap and optimized resource allocation. Monitor project performance, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Operational Excellence:Work with the business areas to advance process improvements, quality assurance, and customer journey enhancements to create a seamless experience for clients.
• Commercial strategy and development:Lead the strategic direction and execution of product development initiatives, collaborating with IT and business areas to deliver profitable, integrated, innovative solutions.
• Team Leadership and Management:Guide and support project managers on a mix of short- and long-term projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and continuous improvement.
• Stakeholder Engagement:Take lead on creating strong collaboration with IT, other group functions, business area owners and sales functions to deliver integrated solutions.

About you To succeed in this role, you bring:

• Proven Expertise:Extensive experience in project portfolio management, preferably including IT development, customer experience, and process optimization.
• Product Management Insight:Background in managing products for B2B or B2I customers is a plus.
• Strategic & Hands-On Approach:Strong strategic mindset paired with practical, hands-on execution skills.
• Leadership & Team Management Skills:Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
• Analytical Strength:Strong analytical skills to drive data-informed decision-making and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Relevant Qualifications:Degree or professional qualification in project management, business administration, or related fields; experience in methodologies like LEAN/Six Sigma/Agility/Safe is advantageous.
