We’re looking for an expert planner/strategist who knows their owned from their earned, who dreams in consumer journeys, who gets as excited about a planning process as they do about big bold brave ideas!
The LEGO® Agency® is responsible for designing and building integrated comms experiences across all touchpoints: owned, earned, shared and paid, and we'd like you to join the team to create the most engaging and effective strategies for kids, adults and the brand.
Core Responsibilities
- Create and define multichannel communications plans combining owned, earned, paid and shared media
- Bring big ideas to life across our ecosystem in key campaign periods and across the year, through clear, compelling and connected user journeys across multiple touchpoints
- Combine creativity and effectiveness through strong understanding of audiences, touchpoints and channel thinking
- Apply your understanding of how brands grow, and how effective comms create impact and get results
- Use data and research to inform your approach, whilst being open to creative innovation and exploration
- Strong storytelling, persuasive pitching and partner engagement to get teams excited and onboard with your thinking
- Help to craft and develop our planning processes and collaboration across marketing and channel teams.
- Support your colleagues to refine their thinking, and build relationships across LEGO to create engaging experiences

The LEGO® Agency® is the global LEGO in-house advertising agency, creating award-winning and compelling content and campaigns for the LEGO brand. The Global Communication Strategy department is all about understanding audience and channel behaviours; to inspire and frame creative work. The team leads and develops strategies for all LEGO channels, earned, owned and paid.
Do you have what it takes?
- Significant experience in a communications planning or strategy role, responsible for channel and campaign planning, and communication architecture. Experience within a global strategy/planning context is beneficial, or working within a multiple markets/regional capacity
- Experience of using data-driven planning tools, audience insight (qual and quant) and effectiveness data to build plans, and working to within a defined planning processes
- Experience of working with channels or media owners to develop creative and executional thinking
- Ability to stay ahead and move with consumer behaviours, technology platforms, and cultural shifts
- Excellent communication skills – written, verbal, and emotional to be a key member of our team, as well as excellent presentation skills
- Desire to stay close to projects throughout their life-cycle to maintaining strategic and creative excellence - a passion for creating communication work that has an impact, that matters and that’s memorable
- Engage well in big team and cross-org collaborations
- Interested and curious about the world - you challenge our view, and brings new perspectives to how we work
