For our Electrical System engineering department, we are looking for an experienced electrical engineer to help us expand the technical support capacity in the sales phase.
How to contribute to our vision
You will be responsible for the technical support to the complete electrical package in our wind turbine contracts as the point of contact for all electro technical matters in the sales phase, internally and externally. Your ability to understand the needs of customers and convert those into value adding technical solutions in the contracts makes the difference. Being a technical expert enables you to understand the trends in the market and you will therefore also be involved in the specification of next generation turbines.
Our work is project driven and you will have wide scale international interfaces to clients, suppliers and colleagues.
More specifically, your assignments will be:
- Processing of tenders and contracts to ensure technical accuracy and feasibility
- Engage directly with client technical representatives to negotiate and clarify technical details
- Pre-specifications and internal price calculations including contacts to suppliers and other partners
- Managing pre-projects as part of the sales phase
- Outlining requirements for next generation turbines and main components based on your market insight
- Continuous development and improvement of processes, business cases, documentation and methods required to ensure best industry practice and cutting edge solutions
What you need to make a difference
Ideally, you hold a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering or similar combined with 5+ years of relevant experience from businesses like wind, energy systems, manufacturing or consultancy business.
To be successful in this role:
- Your personality is characterized as being open minded and self-driven enabling you to work with colleagues from multiple cultures in a large international organization
- You navigate well in a field of technical details and understand how to apply your expertise in a sales context
- You feel comfortable at the negotiating table in the role as the technical expert
- You possess good communication skills in English, orally and in writing
- And most of all, you love the fun and challenges by laying the basis for the largest offshore wind farms in the world
