- As Head of Electronics, you lead our Electronics Technology Development Department in Grundfos Group Technology & Innovation. At Grundfos, our Electronics Technology Development Department plays a critical role in identifying, aligning, developing, and demonstrating cutting-edge technologies and capabilities within the electronics sphere.
What is the job about?
As Head of Electronics, you will have the exciting responsibility of spearheading the department, driving the advancement of electronics technologies that cater to the specific needs of Grundfos, in close cooperation with the world’s leading tech companies. Of particular importance is the field of high reliable power electronics in harsh environments, which is a key discipline for us. To support technological development, within the different technology areas, Circuit- and Finite Element Simulations are important capabilities for us rapidly evolving these years. It’s within the responsibility of the department to develop and deploy these simulation capabilities to the relevant Grundfos organizations.
In addition to driving technology development, your role will involve transferring these technologies to internal stakeholders. You will play a crucial part in supporting and advising broadly on electronics matters throughout Grundfos, leveraging the expertise of key specialists within your department.
Your main responsibilities:
- Lead and deliver necessary electronics technologies to support divisional roadmaps and strategic requests, serving as the owner of the electronics technology roadmap.
- Establish clear objectives, develop efficient processes, and create concrete plans aligned with Group Technology & Innovation targets.
- Develop and evaluate the organization, including development teams, to ensure effective achievement of business objectives while complying with relevant regulations and laws, with a specific focus on safety and cybersecurity.
- Develop a specialist organization to attract and retain talented R&D employees within Electronics Technology.
- Develop and showcase new electronics technologies.
- Manage supply chain operations and establish strategic collaboration with electronics suppliers and partners, working closely with Group Purchasing and legal departments.
Your background
We imagine that you have:
- 3-5 years leadership experience within electronics and technology management.
- MSc or PhD within electronics.
- Deep technical knowledge within electronics.
- Strong business acumen.
