The project is based on the unique Ossabaw pig model which is believed to be the leading model of human obesity/metabolic syndrome. This entails arranging and managing animal experiments, including samplings, and managing and coordinating laboratory analyses in collaboration with experienced group members at DTU and in Boston. Also, all practicalities concerning formulation and procurement of experimental diets, reagents and assays, as well as progress reporting and publications with experienced group members as co-authors.
