Senior IT Infrastructure Architect

The Senior IT Infrastructure Architect plays a critical role in advancing our IT infrastructure solutions. You are responsible for designing complex infrastructure projects, offering expertise, and mentoring team members. Success in this role involves contributing to the strategic direction of our infrastructure and ensuring its alignment with our company's vision and values.

You will be part of the department, which is responsible for delivering IT Infrastructure to our customers. You will be responsible for designing the products and concepts with focus on security, quality and performance. You will get the opportunity to influence our future strategy in our delivery of infrastructure, where the most important thing is to develop sturdy and long-term concepts, fullfiling our own and our customers high demands.

Since we are a global company with customers and colleagues based all over the world. Danish and English is spoken every day, but your primary place of work will be at our office in Skejby, Aarhus N.

We deliver in all phases of a customer project and as a Senior IT Infrastructure Architect you possess a strong role from the sales phase, where focus is on the specifications, the design and the price setting and you also contribute with concepts and adjustments of the design in the project delivery. You will also add value through test cases and collecting information after handover to customer and customer support, which you will bring back as learning to your colleagues in the infrastructure department.

Sparring and collaboration
You will play a go-to-guy role where the Cyber Security team, the Software Product department, the Sales department and the Project execution department will be the key stakeholders outside the infrastructure department. The infrastructure department is a global organization with architects and engineers.

Your primarily responsibilities and tasks will be:

• Lead the development and refinement of the design of the IT Infrastructure concepts, specifications and pricing
• Provide expert guidance to assess, test and ensure the security, quality and performance of the IT infrastructure.
• Play a pivotal role in decomposing complex systems during the design phase, considering interactions and dependencies.
• Act as a mentor to the IT Infrastructure Engineers fostering their professional growth.
• Collaborate with Sales on leads analysing the requirements from the customers and define innovative customer solutions, fully leveraging our core products.
• Drive internal projects regarding POC of new Infrastructure concepts
• Do a proper stakeholder management with both customers and internal stakeholders.

Senior IT Infrastructure Architect
To be successful in the position we expect you to have solid experience from a similar position with designing IT infrastructure including security components and you are an expert in communicating complex solutions in a way where your stakeholders understand it, both orally and in writing.

Furthermore, we imagine that:

• You have experience from a large enterprise or as an external consultant working with business-critical IT Infrastructure
• You have a relevant education within computer science or similar experience
• You have relevant certification with e.g., TOGAF, CCNA, MCP and VCP
• You can write and speak both Danish and English fluent
• You thrive with big challenges and an unpredictable workday.
