Join us in this role where you’ll support our Head of Strategy, Innovation & In-house consulting who is a member of the commercial leadership team and the group management team, Ørsted’s top 15 leaders. The Head of Strategy, Innovation & In-house consulting often interacts with the most senior stakeholders in Ørsted including CEO and Board of Directors and works across the full Ørsted organisation. In this role you’ll enable the Head of Strategy, Innovation & In-house consulting and her leadership team to work efficiently, time effectively, and add significant value across the organisation while working in an international environment and gaining a large internal network. You’ll build a strong rapport with the Head of Strategy, Innovation & In-house consulting and manage a broad range of responsibilities that include day-to-day planning, organising, and prioritising tasks as needed.

You’ll be part of Strategy, Innovation & In-house consulting where you, together with your colleagues, will be responsible for developing Ørsted’s Strategy, delivering company’s competitiveness through innovation and ensuring the company’s future success by driving the most strategically important cross functional projects by our top-notch in-house consultants. The team is a relatively new team constellation, and you’ll be a key part in helping the senior management in Strategy, Innovation & In-house consulting to become one effective team with joint goals and accountabilities towards the wider organisation. That means for the right candidate that you can have a significant impact on the development and success of the team. Strategy, Innovation & In-house consulting has 5 functional areas with around 150 passionate colleagues. As a team, we work across the full organisation, and are also closest to the top decision makers, meaning that confidentiality and effectiveness in this role is key.
You’ll play an important role in:
- providing administrative assistance incl. travel and calendar planning, drafting communication, expense management, taking minutes, and actively managing and driving ad hoc tasks as required
- being an active member the Strategy, Innovation & In-house consultancy team, where you bring new perspectives and ensure that we all challenge our way of thinking
- preparing, coordinating, and following up on meetings and ensuring that the Head of Strategy, Innovation & In-house consulting is well prepared with all materials for meetings, activities, and events
- taking the lead on organising Strategy, Innovation & In-house consulting events, incl. offsites for the leadership team and the bigger organisation
- supporting yearly business processes and follow-up on actions for the Strategy, Innovation & In-house consulting Leadership team
- ensuring long-term planning by building deep relationships and proactive collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to maximise effectiveness, anticipate challenges, and propose solutions
To succeed in the role, you:
- have substantial experience as a personal or executive assistant with close reference to senior or executive management
- speak and write English fluently and know how to handle confidential information
- have a curious mindset and play a big role in acting as the social glue between all Strategy, Innovation & In-house consulting teams
- are passionate about driving impact through administrative and operational excellence, anticipating leadership’s needs, and proactively solving problems before they arise
- enjoy working independently, with a high degree of structure, and have a can-do mindset with the ability to handle many changes and simultaneous tasks
- thrive in a busy environment, and can manage multiple priorities and processes concurrently, while remaining calm and professional.
