Student Assistant
Ørsted
Join us in this role where you’ll help create the link between our largest financial risks, our risk management activities, and the resulting financial impact. You’ll carry out regular reporting of key financial risk metrics, assist our Group Financial Risk teams’ analysts in various development and analysis tasks, as well as handle tasks on your own.
Welcome to Group Financial Risk
You’ll be part of Risk Finance where you, together with your colleagues, will work in a caring and intellectually stimulating environment. Our team transforms complexity into relevant financial stories through a mix of deep knowledge about the business, risk factors, energy and financial markets, valuation of derivatives, and accounting. As a team we care for one another, seek to continuously work smarter and measure our efforts by the impact we make.
You’ll play an important role in:
- carrying out reporting on financial metrics and hedging activities to internal and external key stakeholders
- contributing to projects strengthening the management of credit, financial and construction commodity risks
- carrying out ad-hoc support and analyses to stakeholders across the business
- developing and optimising digital tools, reports, and robust processes within the team for our financial-, hedge accounting- and forecasting deliveries.
To succeed in the role, you:
- care for your colleagues, are naturally curious, and excited to learn
- are analytically strong and can communicate complex matters in a simple way
- are structured, take responsibility, and can manage your own tasks
- have great skills in particular Excel and PowerPoint with an appetite to learn Python, Power BI and other automatization tools
- are currently on the last year of your bachelor’s degree or starting a master’s degree in finance, economics, mathematics, accounting, or similar.
Maybe you’ve read the above and can see you have some transferable skills, even though they don’t quite match all the points. If you think you can bring something to the team, we encourage you to apply.
