About the job
As a Customer Application Consultant you will be part of our Customer Excellence Team. You will work on warehouse management system improvement initiatives, helping our existing customers to drive their business in the best and most efficient way, with the help of Astro WMS. You will be responsible for several of our existing customers. This role entails the following responsibilities:
- Frequently being in contact with our customers (keyusers) including site visits;
- Problem analysis and testing of software changes;
- Process analysis and process improvements;
- Solution design and documentation;
- Description of change requests and alignment with customer;
- Warehouse management system set up and configuration for changes;
- Delivery of software changes and setup;
- Implementing change requests and support for existing customer base.
Job profile:
We are looking for both experienced functional and technical consultants as well as more junior candidates who have a passion for and an interest in logistics and modern warehouse operations solutions. A perfect candidate enjoys dynamic and challenging environment, has the ability to solve complex customer problems, is interested in working with advanced IT systems and applications and likes working with agile project delivery methods. To summarize, the ideal candidate profile would have:
- A degree in Logistics, Engineering with an interest in IT, or an degree in IT and a willingness to learn supply chain business processes;
- Experience in systems and solutions implementation for the supply chain area, preferably regarding WMS;
- Analytical mindset and problem-solving skills;
- Great communication skills and fluent in English and Dutch;
- “Creating customer value” as a focus in everything you do.
