Join our team in developing new products and technologies
As Mechanical Design Engineer you will be an important part of our R&D team of 10 engineers. You will be co-responsible for design of mechanics for our spectrometers.
Your tasks will include:
- Mechanical design of opto-mechanical systems, cabinets, production tooling and test setups for a broad range of spectrometers
- Design for reliable and robust manufacture and operation
- Validation and documentation of your work
- Problem solving related to production and test
- Project management and coordination
Your background and competencies
We are looking for this set of skills:
- Engineer or similar education
- Experience with mechanical design using Autodesk Inventor or similar CAD software
- Hands-on experience with mechanical design for optical- or fine mechanical components
- Experience with production-friendly design using epoxy and mechanical fixtures
- Experience with GPS and tolerancing
- A structured and fact based approach to your work
