About the role
We are looking for an Energy Engineer who specializes in industrial energy and water consumption to join our multi-disciplinary team of 9 professionals working with sustainability in Pharma.
As a team, we are working on construction projects, manufacturing processes and black & clean utilities. We model and forecast energy and water consumption, make simulations, prepare life cycle assessments, develop strategies, and execute transformation projects to help our customers make sustainable choices.
Why do we need you? We are looking for an enthusiastic and ambitious colleague who have a passion for sustainability. Your role will be key in performing energy and water calculations for utility and process and advising clients on sustainability potentials.

How you might spend your days
As our Energy Engineer, you’ll be
- Gathering and handling data, estimating and performing detailed calculations for utility, process, and building installations
- Making impactful proposals to make efficient use and reuse of energy, water, and other resources
- Producing useful illustrations to prioritize and support decisions
- Primarily working on project work at the office but also participate in fields tasks at production sites
- Interpreting results and having dialogues with costumers and colleagues all around NNE
- Contributing to various projects in collaboration with colleagues in the sustainability team
- Advising and collaborating with mechanical engineers, process engineers, project managers etc.

The miles you’ve walked
In all positions there are some things that are needed, and others a bonus. We believe these qualifications are needed for you to do well in this role:
- BSc or MSc within mechanical engineering, sustainable energy, utility, industrial processes, or similar.
- Knowledge about thermodynamics and energy & water consumption calculations
- Master large data sets and can communicate complex information simple and efficient
- Are either an experienced professional or a newly graduate eager to learn and develop your skills
- Speak and write English fluently
