WE ARE LOOKING FOR AN EXPERIENCED AND STRATEGIC EMEA RETAIL DIRECTOR TO LEAD OUR RETAIL OPERATIONS AND DRIVE GROWTH ACROSS THE MARKETS. IF YOU ARE A PASSIONATE LEADER WITH A TRACK RECORD IN LUXURY RETAIL MANAGEMENT AND STRONG UNDERSTANDING OF THE EMEA MARKET, THIS ROLE IS FOR YOU!
YOUR MISSION & RESPONSIBILITIES AHEAD OF YOU
As the EMEA Retail Director, you will lead, develop, and implement strategies that maximise regional retail performance. You will oversee the operational excellence, profitability, and brand alignment of all EMEA stores while ensuring an exceptional customer experience.
Responsibilities ahead of you:
- Retail Strategy & Leadership: Develop and execute the EMEA retail strategy, ensuring alignment with the company’s global goals and objectives. Lead initiatives that drive sales, enhance customer experience and increase regional market share.
- Operational Excellence: Oversee day-to-day retail operations, ensuring efficiency, cost management, and adherence to company policies and procedures. Optimise store layouts, merchandising, and in-store processes to enhance performance.
- Team Leadership & Development: Lead and mentor retail managers and store teams, fostering a high-performance culture. Identify talent gaps, develop training programs, and support succession planning to build a strong pipeline of retail leaders.
- Customer Experience & Brand Alignment: Ensure an exceptional customer experience across all stores, aligning with GANNI’s brand identity and values. Drive customer engagement strategies to build loyalty and increase repeat visits.
- Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Analyze sales performance, operational metrics, and market trends to identify growth opportunities and areas for improvement. Report regularly to senior leadership on key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Market Expansion & Partnerships: Work closely with the Chief Commercial Officer to identify new market opportunities, manage store openings, and establish partnerships to expand GANNI’s presence across EMEA.
MUST HAVE REQUIREMENTS
- Extensive experience in luxury retail management, with a proven track record of leading multi-country retail operations in EMEA.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, mentor, and manage large, diverse teams.
- Deep understanding of the EMEA market, including customer behaviours, retail trends, and operational challenges.
- Demonstrated success in developing and executing retail strategies that drive growth and profitability.
- Exceptional analytical skills, with the ability to interpret performance metrics and translate insights into actionable strategies.
- Strong customer focus, with the ability to align retail operations with brand identity and values.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fluent in English and French.
- Flexibility to travel frequently across the EMEA region.
- Passion for the fashion industry and a genuine belief in GANNI’s mission and values.

WHAT ELSE?
You will be based in our Paris office, requiring frequent travel throughout the EMEA region.
You will be reporting directly to the Chief Commercial Officer.
