Welcome to Group Treasury & Risk

You will be part of the Group Treasury and Risk team at Novonesis headquarters in Lyngby. We manage funding activities, financial risk, and cash flows, , supporting the company’s operations globally. This environment allows for collaboration with internal stakeholders such as finance managers and headquarter functions, alongside external partners, including banks, consultants, and auditors.

In this role, you’ll make an impact…
… when overseeing and optimizing our treasury operations. You will act as an adviser, sparring partner, and project member, ensuring high-quality deliverables for both internal and external stakeholders.

In addition, some of your key tasks will include:

• Managing cash flow, funding strategies, and liquidity planning.
• Reviewing and reporting on treasury activities, including funding needs and hedging.
• Overseeing cash flow planning and forecasting.
• Negotiating contracts with financial counterparties.
• Collaborating with various departments to align financial strategies.
• Ensuring alignment of treasury-related activities across our newly merged company structure

Alongside talented colleagues, you will work closely with finance managers in subsidiaries and external partners, such as banks and consultants, to develop innovative and seamless treasury solutions.

What we expect you to bring…

• A master’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in treasury or corporate finance operations.
• Experience negotiating contracts with financial counterparties.
• Advanced IT proficiency; SAP experience is an advantage.
• Fluency in English, both written and verbal.

To excel in this role, you should be a detail-oriented and collaborative professional with a deep understanding of financial markets and corporate finance. Your ability to navigate complex challenges and deliver exceptional results will be key. Success in this position requires analytical skills, a methodical approach, and a team-oriented mindset, coupled with the confidence to question conventions and propose innovative solutions.
