About the Department
The Finance Department at AGC Biologics plays a vital role in developing, implementing, and maintaining effective financial reporting and control systems for the Copenhagen site. By creating value-oriented processes and providing actionable insights into business activities, the department enables better decision-making and supports organizational growth. Key responsibilities include financial planning, resource allocation, monitoring financial performance, and delivering timely fiscal status reports.

About the Role
As an FP&A Senior Specialist Business Controller, you will serve as a key business advisor, supporting senior-level decision-making by identifying critical financial issues and risks. This role encompasses financial planning for strategic initiatives, forecasting, budgeting, reporting, and P&L control. Additional responsibilities include managing cash flow, conducting scenario analyses, and providing risk management support.

You will work closely with the Manager of FP&A, leveraging data modeling and reporting to enable the achievement of business objectives.

Your primary tasks will be…

  • Conduct data modeling, data analysis, and actively participate in month-end closures.
  • Forecast and analyze cash flow (weekly, monthly, and long-term).
  • Monitor and evaluate balance sheet metrics.
  • Support month-end closure processes
  • Ensure data accuracy and corrections during month-end closures in collaboration with Senior Financial Controllers.
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on financial data and performance metrics.
  • Work with business leaders to develop and implement financial strategies aligned with organizational goals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Manufacturing, Process Development, Business Development, Quality, Procurement, HR) to support planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
  • Prepare financial reports and presentations for senior management and leadership teams.
  • Lead cost optimization and efficiency projects across the organization.
  • Serve as a D365 super user for finance processes.

Your Qualifications…

  • A degree-level education or equivalent, and preferred experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Expertise in building detailed models and forecasts in complex environments.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a proactive and positive change agent approach.
  • Advanced modeling and analytical abilities and strong experience with D365/Navision.
  • Skilled in producing professional financial reports and proficiency in SharePoint and Power BI.
  • Solid understanding of financial performance metrics and balance sheet development.
  • Proven ability to partner with stakeholders at all levels, including senior management.
  • Comfortable working both autonomously and collaboratively within a team.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy and capacity to prioritize workload while meeting deadlines effectively.
  • Ability to work under pressure while achieving defined targets.
