Life Sciences have an increasing appetite on digitalization of manufacturing. Our growing business allow us to expand our team and broaden our capabilities. We are looking for a lead profile who has a background within Material Control.
NNIT is involved with all types of customers in Life Sciences and Medical Devices. Our portfolio connects to a variety of challenges that the industry is facing. The project is in Copenhagen, and you will be part of a European team that is primarily delivering to European customers. You will have colleagues around the world. If you are located in another location, then you may expect some travelling - up to 20%.
We are looking for a candidate with digital competencies within Intralogistics and automated material handling in the life science industry. Experience with warehouse control systems, WCS / material flow systems and/or MFS experience would be preferred.
Your responsibilities:
The successful candidate will make a mark in the developing, presenting, planning, and delivery of NNIT services within material control.
You will be part of a strong team of Subject Matter Experts that cover digital manufacturing as well as Life Sciences digitalization in general. This network will support you in assignments and competence development alike.
Your qualifications and experience:
Candidates must have a B.Sc. degree in Engineering or equivalent, with emphasis in software development, electrical, electronic or automation discipline, with 5+ years’ experience in industry, preferably in life sciences, medical devices, or relevant GMP manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have:
- Excellent communication skills and strong problem skills.
- Strong attention to details, including the ability to author and proofread documents and to accurately translate customers’ requirements into meaningful end-user instructions consistently.
- Excellent organizational and communication (verbal and written) skills at all levels of the organization. Strong relationship building skills – for interacting with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to present complex and technical data confidently, and to meet the technical skills level of the audience.
- Ability to mentor others.
Essential skills:
- Experience in delivering consultancy and direction to clients on automation systems.
- Strong solution architecture/business process skills within automated warehouses and automated material handling/intralogistics.
- Proven influencing ability with technical applications in the area: warehouse management, material flow system/warehouse control systems, and AGV/AMR fleet management.
- Fluency in oral and written English is a must. A second language (Danish, German, French) is beneficial.
