We are looking for a Strategic Account Manager with the ability to set the strategic direction for our partnership with one of our dairy costumers.

Welcome to The Nordic and Netherland Dairy Sales Team..
The Nordic and Netherland Dairy Sales Team is part of the Central North Europe organization in Novonesis, supporting all dairy costumers in this area.

You will be part of a dynamic team surrounded by 12 great and highly skilled colleagues with strong team spirit in an exciting international setting. Further you will report to the Head of Dairy Sales Nordic & the Netherlands.

As a Strategic Account Manager, we want you to be global and at the same time, understand the different local markets our strategic partner is operating in. You will be based at our office in either Hørsholm or Aarhus with the opportunity to work remotely 1-2 days per week.

In this role you’ll make an impact by:
You are responsible for setting the strategic direction, develop the business and drive our partnership towards the costumer.

When setting the strategic direction, we expect that you develop long term strategies and account plan focusing on product segments and service strategy for key countries. Furthermore, you should drive and coordinate cross functional activities important for the partnership and secure internal and external communication to align on strategic direction.

To develop business, you should deliver sales in accordance with plans and budget and take lead on commercial negotiations. Further you set the direction for launch of new concepts planning of customer seminars or local sales campaigns when needed.

When driving our partnership, it is important that you understand and follow global and local project pipeline with the responsible sales teams and interact when projects are not moving correctly. You are in that way driving an internal sales network of colleagues responsible for daily management of the accounts and support on removing roadblocks when needed. To succeed in the role, it is key to have regular contacts, joined visits, regular internal communication and from time to time, internal seminars.

You are expected to travel up to 50% of your working time.

To succeed you must hold:

  • A Master’s degree, or similar, in science and technology
  • Excellent commercial and strong technical understanding
  • Preferably +8 years of experience within the dairy sector
  • Strong communication skills with ability to positively influence customers and internal stakeholders
  • Ability to utilize product knowledge to determine the best action for customers
  • A self-starting and self-motivating individual with a positive attitude.
  • Accurate and respectful of deadlines
  • Disciplined and willing to learn and upgrade technical know-how in relevant applications
  • You have excellent Danish and English Language skills, both spoken and written
