Senior Project Engineer – TI External Engineering

We are expanding our production capability as we are approaching new markets with our products. For that, we need a new colleague to join our Technology Innovation (TI) department.

Key responsibilities
- Lead the development and specification of high-tech machinery for medical device production, emphasizing capacity, reliability, and compliance with industry standards.
- Drive the design, validation, and integration of equipment to expand manufacturing capacity and enhance process efficiency.
- Collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders—including machine builders, Quality Assurance, Product Development, Manufacturing, and Process Support teams—to ensure equipment meets user requirements and regulatory standards.
- Create and manage all related technical documentation, including user requirement specifications, validation plans, protocols, reports, and process risk assessments, ensuring compliance with regulatory and quality requirements.
- Facilitate continuous improvement initiatives to optimize processes and production, ensuring smooth implementation of new equipment and fostering ongoing advancements within the production line.
A lot of your work will include close cooperation with manufacturing partners and internal stakeholders within the likes of Product Development, Supply Chain, Quality Assurance and Manufacturing.

Qualifications
- A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, with experience in developing and specifying machinery for medical devices, pharmaceuticals, or similar industries.
- Proven experience in machinery specification, documentation, and commissioning.
- Strong understanding of GMP, process risk management, and the validation and qualification of production processes.
- Familiarity with printing technology for medical devices or related industries is an advantage.
- Expertise in design control disciplines to ensure equipment and process integrity.
- Detail-oriented, structured team player with a problem-solving and data-driven approach.
- Ability to lead complex projects from start to finish with accountability.
- Enjoy working in a dynamic environment, collaborating effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills, with proficiency in both written and spoken English.
