Bids for large airport projects
You will be involved in the tender phase for large airport projects world-wide where you will be responsible for the preparation of our proposals in close collaboration with both internal stakeholders and the customer. In close alignment with the Sales Manager, you manage the bid, lead the global bid team using company agreed processes and methodologies to ensure deadlines are met, approvals obtained, and that the bid team is motivated and focused.
More specifically, the job involves:
- Develop the bid strategy and take ownership of the bid management process.
- Reviewing and revising documents prepared by internal stakeholders and coordinating the preparation of those materials.
- Recording and aligning the qualification outcomes and escalate when required to drive effective bid qualification.
- Flagging any issues or risks to the appropriate stakeholders within the business.
- Storing all documentation in appropriate systems maintaining all necessary security compliance.
- Constantly striving to improve both process and offerings to ensure a maximum competitiveness in the bidding phase.
High personal drive and strong project management skills
You enjoy working in a global environment with colleagues and customers in different time zones. With your analytical mindset and structured approach, you pay attention to detail and have high quality standards. Even during hectic periods, you stay focused and maintain an overview.
Furthermore, the ideal candidate fulfils the below qualifications:
- Master's degree in economics or engineering
- Professional experience with tender processes for large-scale complex projects
- Experience in writing proposals
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
The primary work location will be in Aarhus, Denmark. The job requires 30-50 travel days yearly.
