ABOUT THE JOB
We seek a Senior Frontend Developer to strengthen our Adobe and Composable Commerce development team in our team in Portugal.
As a developer, you should have a passion for web development and be willing to grow, learn, and innovate. You will have the opportunity to work with international clients on challenging digital commerce projects of great complexity.
In this role, you are expected to develop and deliver front-end solutions on the Adobe Commerce platform. You will work on different projects and solutions to our customers. As a senior developer, we expect you to support other developers with programming tasks and quality assurance processes.
Your main responsibilities will be:
- Plan and develop the front-end implementation inside a framework, ensuring robustness, performance, and alignment with user experience goals, both for web and desktop environments;
- Collaborate with the customer and different stakeholders to design solutions matching requirements and best practices;
- Follow and promote the best practices in various aspects of software development (Design, Code, Scalability, Architecture, and Testing);
- Document and test solutions;
- Review code from your peers based on best practices, performance benchmarks, and the framework guidelines;
- Get updated with the latest innovations regarding frontend development technologies and methodologies;
YOUR DAY-TO-DAY
- You will work on migration projects with new customers and maintenance projects with existing customers;
- You will be frequently working inside a multi-disciplinarian team, from junior to tech leads/architects;
- Being part of migration projects is all about new experiences, creating something new, and helping a new customer thrive through the complex path of e-commerce;
- You will be part of customer experience: maintenance projects help our current customers improve their experiences and create new features in existing websites. It’s all about trust. They trust us, and we help them grow and improve their customer experience.
YOUR PROFILE
- Computer Science or related technical degree;
- +4 years of experience in front-end technologies and frameworks;
- Strong experience with JavaScript, PHP, HTML e CSS;
- Knowledge of Responsive Design;
- Proven experience working with Less, Sass, and/or Grunt;
- Proven experience working with agile methodologies;
- Proven experience of Git, GitLab, and JIRA;
- Knowledge of Continuous Delivery and Continuous Integration;
- Curiosity about technology and ability to advocate for change when needed;
- Open to learning new challenges and to share knowledge with others;
- Great problem-solving skills, with a solution-focused mindset
- Experience with managing time efficiently and autonomously;
- Fluent in English written and spoken.
Nice to have
- Experience with Adobe Commerce Development (previous Magento);
- Experience with React and Next.js.
