This is the job

Our Ecommerce-team is based at Flying Tiger Copenhagen HQ at Strandgade. You will be working closely together with the rest of the Ecommerce team and be reporting into our Head of Digital Customer Experience.

As our UI Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in designing and optimizing user interfaces for our digital platforms. Your work will be at the intersection of creativity and functionality, ensuring every design is visually compelling, user-friendly, and aligned with our brand. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you’ll help bridge the gap between user experience (UX) and technical implementation to deliver top-notch digital experiences.

Key responsibilities:

• Design visually compelling and responsive user interfaces for websites, mobile apps, and other digital platforms.
• Work with developers to implement designs, ensuring the final output matches the intended design specifications.
• Create and maintain design systems, guidelines, and component libraries to ensure consistency across platforms.
• Conduct UI testing and incorporate feedback to improve the overall design and usability.
• Stay updated on the latest UI trends, design techniques, and best practices to continuously innovate and improve designs.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand project requirements, user needs, and business goals, translating these into intuitive design solutions.
• Ensure designs are optimized for accessibility and performance across multiple devices and screen sizes.
• Act as a key point of contact for UI-related decisions and ensure compliance with brand guidelines and UX best practices.

This is you

• 3+ years of experience in UI design or front-end development.
• Proficient in UI design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, or similar.
• Strong understanding of responsive and mobile-first design principles.
• Experience in collaborating with development teams for design handoff and implementation.

• Strong visual design skills with attention to detail and a deep understanding of typography, color theory, and layout design.
• Proficient with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to understand the limitations and to support implementation.
• Ability to create wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and interactive designs.
• Excellent communication skills for working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Knowledge of accessibility standards and a commitment to creating inclusive designs.
