Interdisciplinary collaboration and team spirit
Our Process and Safety department is expanding in response to the continuous growth of the renewable energy sector. As our new colleague, you will be involved in various aspects of process engineering and safety design, including participation in process design and risk and safety reviews. Our projects primarily concentrate on tasks related to substations for large-scale wind parks worldwide, or offshore and onshore PtX installations.
You will be part of a team of 8 colleagues who are ready to welcome you. We have different professional backgrounds, which we see as a clear advantage when finding solid solutions to complex tasks.

The tasks
We work project-oriented and projects are carried out in close collaboration with a multidisciplinary project team. The team consists of project managers, engineers, and designers with various experties, from both ISC and the client's side.
Your work will involve:
- Fire and safety design for facilities e.g., offshore platforms in wind parks worldwide.
- Process design engineering in general. E.g., PFD’s, P&ID’s, equipment specifications, and concept development.
- Risk assessment and risk workshops.
- Concept studies, feasibility studies, FEED studies and detailed design.
Your work will primarily be based at our premises in Østerbro, Copenhagen, but may include occasional travel to attend meetings with clients and partners.
Your qualifications
We are looking for a skilled engineer, preferably with experience, who can contribute professionally as well as socially to the informal and positive atmosphere in the team. We expect you to be a team player, ready to learn new skills, and motivated to take on new work tasks with a dedicated approach.
We expect you to bring the following qualifications:
- Graduated as a chemical engineer or similar (e.g. chemical, process, energy, oil & gas).
- Experience from working in project teams.
- An outgoing personality with excellent teamworking skills.
- Excellent English skills, both written and spoken.
- It’s an advantage, but not a requirement, if you:
- Have minimum 5 years of experience.
- Have experience with process and safety design.
Success criteria after three months at ISC:
- You have been involved in large projects and have gained experience and learning the scale and execution of the tasks.
- You have gained a good understanding of the scope of work.
- You have shown interest and flair for the tasks at hand and have solved tasks to a satisfactory level.
- You are happy and enjoy coming to work.
