Your future team – The Maintenance team
We are a large team of 30+ people in the Technical department. We are primarily engineers, and we work with rolling stock technical items, passenger experience, quality management systems & building quality, project management and maintenance. Our primary task is to deliver well-functioning trains and maintenance, contributing to a greener Denmark.
In your daily work, you will be part of a project team alongside professionals from various fields, including change management, legal, commercial, and administration.
In the team, we like to have fun together. Besides our monthly meetings, we have ongoing meetings for knowledge sharing.

Your tasks
You contribute to ensuring quality and robustness of the chosen maintenance model and maintenance contract, which have integrated processes, methods and KPI’s for relevant performance requirements.
You will work with implementation of the acquisition projects that DSB is undertaking.
Your tasks will include
- Preparing requirements for our tenders and for our contracts in your area of expertise
- Negotiating with the tenderers and the supplier on the requirements
- Reviewing maintenance and facility documents delivered by the tender and the supplier
- Ensuring consistency between projects on maintenance
- Establishing good relationships with several stakeholders, such as our Maintenance line organization, Facility Project, operational organization, and others.
Who are you?
We are looking for an engineer (or alike) with an understanding of the work methods and analysis in maintenance.
We envision that you possess the following
- Educational background as an engineer.
- Relevant experience with maintenance, including rolling stock.
- Knowledge about ECM and the QA/ECM system is beneficial.
- A multi-technical understanding.
We imagine that you have previously dealt with some of the following topics
- Maintenance planning.
- Maintenance workshops.
- Maintenance workshop equipment.
- Maintenance processes.
- System for maintenance.
- Quality management.
We imagine you as a curious person, who is ready to learn and adapt to knowledge. It is important that you thrive working with complexity and professional challenges within Maintenance and follow-up on requirements. You are motivated by both long term and short-term goals.
Personally, you like to connect with other colleagues – also from other professional disciplines. You prioritize cooperation with colleagues, customers, and suppliers.
