This position is based at the ESA Centre for Earth Observation (ESRIN) - Frascati, Italy
The Digital and Print Production and Channels Office is responsible for carrying out and coordinating the planning, technical management, implementation, and publishing of ESA’s digital and print productions and online channels. This opportunity is within the Web & Technology team.

ESA’s main website at esa.int is the flagship platform for ESA’s Communication Department. In 2018 a revamped look and feel was implemented, whilst the backend Content Management System dates from an earlier update to the website. You will have the opportunity to work on the ongoing project to renew both the backend and the frontend of the website.
Your tasks include assisting with:
- New back office configuration (test and validate the features);
- Website development (test of web pages);
- Data migration (data referentel, data qualification, tests, SEO implementation);
- Training of the editors in the new back office.
This internship will be an opportunity to put into practice digital communication skills and learn more about a large international organisation such as ESA.

Education
You must be a university student, preferably in your final or second-to-last year of a university course at Master’s level and you need to remain enrolled at your University for the entire duration of the internship.
Additional requirements
The working languages of the Agency are English and French. A good knowledge of one of these is required. Knowledge of another Member State language would be an asset.
Knowledge of web technology, digital content management, SEO. Some previous experience with website reorganisation is an advantage. Required to be well organised and have a good attention to detail. Should be a creative problem solver, and have strong communication and teamwork skills.
