We are looking for a Customer Insights Manager, who wants to be a part of the growth journey by supporting Ambu to be the most customer-centric company in the industry. Working with our customer insights, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that we keep developing and refining our customer understanding, incl. drive specific customer insights projects, take part in continuing the development of our customer journey’s and establish and maintain a set of best practices on customer insights to be used across Global Marketing.

You will be a part of our Global Marketing organization and work will stakeholders both in HQ and our Sales Territories (ST). You will work alongside the established team within Global Portfolio Strategy, while collaborating significantly with colleagues in our Product Management Teams, Commercial Excellence, R&D, STs and others to challenge and develop a cohesive view across the organization. The role is to ensure that Ambu remains customer-centric by continuing to advance and sophisticate our understanding, through both broad projects and activities and strong collaboration with the product managers on specific detailed questions, while also maintaining our shared understanding. Consequently, it is important to have a structured approach to drive the overall story, while also having the mentality to challenge and advance our methodology and data.

You will join an international team with highly dedicated colleagues. The position as Customer Insights Manager is based at Ambu’s headquarters in Ballerup, Denmark. Some traveling should be expected as a part of the job.

Position with significant impact

We are looking for a Customer Insights Manager to drive our customer insights activities. The role is paramount in establishing best practices and ensuring that Ambu continues refining our customer understanding, incl. understanding the full stakeholder landscape and differences between clinical areas and sites of care. You will work closely with Product Management and STs to ensure we have a standardized approach and that we utilize the collective knowledge of our organization.

As a Customer Insights Manager your responsibilities will include:

  • Be part of establishing an anchor point for customer insights at Ambu, incl. mapping previous research across the organization and be a central role in future projects
  • Own the overall story and framework to understand and talk about our customers - in close collaboration with the functional and clinical experts on their unique areas
  • Become a thought leader on how we think and work with customer insights in Ambu, incl. methodology, new approaches, etc.
  • Be a key driver for making our customer insights actionable for strategic decision-making by taking part in various decisions across our innovation pipeline and commercial activities
  • Lead initiatives to gather new insights and data, incl. structure the work, work with partners, collaborate with internal stakeholders, etc.
  • Drive efforts to improve our understanding of the full customer journey, incl. the relationship between customers and users of our solutions

Key competences

To succeed in this position, you have a strategic mindset and a solid business understanding. You could hold a degree in healthcare, business, social sciences, or engineering on a master’s level.

You have experience with customer insights, which enables you to understand best practices and set you up to be a driving force behind elevating customer insights within Ambu. As a person you are motivated by having the opportunity to set direction, bring forth new ideas, while maintaining structure.

You might have worked in an international role before and have experience from the healthcare industry. Your experience or skillset enables you to learn, evaluate and adapt fast, enabling you to work both independently and with stakeholders possessing complementary skillsets.

As a person, you have a curious nature, ability to “look ahead” and foresee issues and possibility before they arise, a “can do” attitude with excellent cooperation skills. It is natural for you to work and take ownership of a deliverable and ensure collaboration across a broader organization

You thrive in an international environment that is characterized by cross-functional teamwork. As Ambu is a global company it is essential that you have excellent English skills and that you have a global mindset in relation to both co-workers and business opportunities.
