As our new Logistics Process Specialist at FOSS, you will play a key role in development of the future logistics solutions. Together with our dynamic team in Global Logistics and stakeholders across the organization you’ll have the opportunity to put your professional skills into use when you help close the gaps and optimize business processes.Will you be responsible for internal logistics and warehouse management process landscape?
The Danish based production, warehouse, and distribution activities are being transitioned from Hillerød to Frederikssund in 2026. As part of this transition the logistical concepts will be redesigned to further a competitive and professional operation.
Your will play a key part as Logistics Process Specialist and the future responsible for the existing and future processes. Some of the future processes will be supported by a new WMS and automated storage solution.
Your primary tasks are, but no limited to:
- Take active part in the creation and development of warehouse and logistic processes, being creative in meeting both business needs and system standards in collaboration with the stakeholders and IT
- Manage own improvement projects:
- Implement and own logistical solutions
- Improve SAP workflow and implement IT tools supporting processes
- Improve performance management tools and operational KPI’s
- Root cause analysis and associated coordination with IT on both short-term fixes and long-term solutions
- Support IT in interfaces to other systems inside the organisation
- Own process confirmation and standard operating procedure (SOP) updates
- Back up for S&OP and inventory management processes
Qualifications
You have a holistic mindset and is driven by creating value through fact-based decision making. We will come to know you as self-motivated and possessing a can-do attitude. You work well within a team and can build a network within a large organisation.
You have an academic degree within Production, Supply Chain or Logistics disciplines. E.g. HD SCM, Manufacturing & Management Engineer.
Moreover, we expect that you have:
- 3-5 years SAP ERP experience
- Experience with Warehouse Management Systems
- A broad business process understanding within production and supply chain
- The ability to challenge existing processes and create solutions based on complex business and system structure
- A great interest in continuous improvement and optimising processes
- Good communication skills and fluent in written and spoken Danish and English
We will start by welcoming you to our office in Hillerød, but at the end of 2025 we will move our production facilities to Frederikssund and the position will be based there, together with the rest of the team.
You will refer to the Global Logistics Director and as a team member in Global Logistics, you will be a part of developing the future set up in FOSS.
