The department
Welltec is actively recruiting a Quality Inspector for Saudi Arabia based in Khobar. Our small agile team ensures the quality and reliability of products, processes, and services.

The position
The work of the Quality Inspector focuses on quality support to projects from the planning phase to projection completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement quality assurance policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and customer requirements.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits of products, processes, and facilities to identify and address quality issues.
- Oversee and coordinate the testing and analysis of materials, components, and finished products to verify their compliance with quality standards.
- Investigate and determine the root causes of quality issues, defects, or deviations. Implement corrective and preventive actions to address identified problems.
- Provide training to employees on quality control procedures, standards, and best practices. Ensure that staff members are aware of and adhere to quality requirements.
- Assess and manage risks associated with quality control, taking proactive measures to prevent issues that could impact product quality or customer satisfaction.
- Stay informed about relevant industry regulations, standards, and certifications. Ensure that the organization's quality control processes align with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with suppliers to ensure the quality of incoming materials and components. Establish and maintain effective relationships with suppliers to address quality concerns.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency in quality control activities. Implement measures to enhance overall quality performance.
The candidate
The preferred candidate has the following profile:
- Bachelor’s degree in any specification or related to the field
- Good communication skills and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in computer applications
Experience needed for the role
- Experience with OCTG Threads and Tubulars
- Experience of Equipment Pressure Testing
- Knowledge and Experience of NDT
- Preferably with experience in 6 Sigma (but not required)
- Experience in QA/QC
