As NPI Project Manager you will be joining a newly formed team in Manufacturing Engineering Production Support. The team’s role is to lead transfer projects from either R&D to production or global transfers from site-to-site to fully utilize our global manufacturing network.
“We are currently working on transfer preparation of several R&D projects. The product portfolio ranges from Thoracic Stent Graft, Vena Cava Filters, and Embolization Coils, however the common denominator is medical devices for minimal invasive procedures.”
Responsibilities
You will be responsible for leading transfer projects from either R&D to production or transfer projects from site-to-site, ensuring timely execution of activities in close collaboration with key functions such as Quality, Test and Validation and Manufacturing. Depending on the project, you will work closely together with either the R&D project manager or the NPI lead at one of our other production sites. Your main responsibilities will be:
- Support one or more NPI projects, ensuring project visibility and completion of projects to agreed timeline and scope.
- Ensure production readiness making sure that manufacturability, process validation, process capability, lean manufacturing, equipment selection and specification development are in place.
- Ensure the effective completion of all activities associated with transfer to manufacturing of an R&D engineering project by ensuring productive and collaborative work.
- Utilize a risk-based approach during the development, implementation, and validation process.
- Report and communicate risk and challenges to relevant stakeholders.
- Develop manufacturing strategy together with R&D and other relevant stakeholders.
As a part of this job, you will also be the process owner for our “Transfer to Manufacturing” process making sure that it’s maintained and up to date.

Qualifications
Experienced candidate with lots of energy
You possess a strong drive to deliver excellent results for our transfer projects. You are an experienced Project Manager with proven results and a solid track record. Solid communication skills and good stakeholder management is a natural part of your professional identity.
In addition, you have:
- Experience with transfer projects, preferably from Medical Device or a similar industry
- Experience with process validation, production setup and flow
- A structured and systematic approach to planning in a complex and interdisciplinary environment
- Good written and spoken English skills as English is our corporate language.
