Team and Role

Your daily work will take place in a commercial, project-oriented environment, where you, as the Project Manager will work closely with colleagues from Sales, R&D, Production, and Technical Service, as well as external suppliers, to deliver high-end radar products and tailored system solutions to our customers.

As a Project Manager within our Program Excellence Ground organization, you will play a pivotal role in managing and delivering global safety and security surveillance projects. These projects are essential to our mission, combining cutting-edge technology with the expertise of a highly skilled, cross-functional team.

You will be in direct contact with customers and end users. Therefore, a central part of your role will be to follow through and ensure that your stakeholders are continuously kept in the loop. You create understanding and commitment by addressing uncertainties and risks and by handling subsequent corrective actions on time.

In addition to your duties as a Project Manager, you will also be expected to contribute to our organizational development alongside the rest of the Project Management team and other stakeholders. The world around us is dynamic and in constant change, Terma is growing, and we need to ensure that we are moving in the right direction.

Your workplace will be at Terma in the Program Excellence team in Lystrup, with the possibility of working from home when compatible with your tasks. Our local team is working across different application areas. We are working in a collaborative, dynamic, and informal environment. Yearly travel days from 0 – 25 are to be expected.

Key Responsibilities

• Set goals: Be ambitious but insist on realism
• Ensure progress and clear visibility of the project and deliveries
• Plan and follow up on several project phase activities and recurring tasks
• Manage budget
• Create an overview and manage project designated stakeholders
• Work across departments to ensure clear alignment

We will provide you with a thorough onboarding process. Once you are fully acclimated, you will be responsible for guiding your projects in the right direction and ensuring they are delivered profitably and on schedule. You will typically manage numerous of projects simultaneously.

• An education within Project Management or a similar field of study
• Solid experience within project management, 5+ years
• You are able to work independently in a dynamic environment
• You understand the commercial aspects in a project, combined with your follow through discipline
• You are highly structured and understand the necessity of coordination and follow-up
• You are able to deliver quality with a service-oriented perspective
