Compliance Project Manager

The position
Scan Group is working in the global transportation supply chain.
You will be part of a small finance team in Scan-Group interacting with the regional finance set-up across the organization.
This is a new role placed at the Scan-Group HQ in Copenhagen and you will report to the Group CFO.
Job overall purpose
- To oversee the succesfull implementation of SAF-T (Standard Audit File for Tax), E-invoicing and other compliance initiatives across the organization

Key areas of tasks related to the responsibilities
Project Leadership and Management
- Lead and manage the end-to-end implementation of SAF-T and E-invoicing projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and compliance with local and international tax regulations
- Develop comprehensive project plans, defining scope, timelines, deliverables, and resource requirements
- Coordinate project teams, including finance, IT, legal, and other relevant departments, to ensure successful project execution
- Manage project timelines and resource allocation to ensure projects stay within scope and budget
- Track and report project progress, identifying risks and issues, and implementing mitigation strategies as needed
Regulatory Compliance and Reporting
- Ensure that all SAF-T and E-invoicing processes comply with local tax laws, international standards, and relevant industry regulations
- Identify potential compliance risks and coordinate with authorities and external advisors
- Work closely with tax and finance teams to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and timely reporting of financial information in line with regulatory requirements
- Prepare and present reports on project status to senior management, stakeholders, and auditors
Stakeholder Engagement
- Act as the primary point of contact for all stakeholders (internal and external), managing communications and expectations
- Foster strong relationships with tax authorities, vendors, and service providers to ensure smooth implementation of SAF-T and E-invoicing processes
- Engage and collaborate with external auditors and consultants to ensure compliance and smooth project execution
Change Management and Training
- Lead the change management process, ensuring that stakeholders across the organization are well-informed and prepared for the transition to new systems and processes
- Develop and deliver training programs for internal teams to ensure proficiency with new SAF-T and E-invoicing processes
- Ensure proper documentation and knowledge transfer to relevant departments post-implementation
Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities for process optimization and system enhancements to ensure ongoing compliance and operational efficiency
- Stay up-to-date with developments in SAF-T, E-invoicing, and other relevant accounting standards and regulations, advising the organization on potential improvements or changes to current processes
Criteria of Success

- Good relations with stakeholders – both internal in the business lines, across the Finance function and with external stakeholders
Your profile
Skills
- Strong project management skills with a solid understanding of project management methodologies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Familiarity with accounting software, ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- If you have experience with tax compliance tools it’s fine – but not mandatory if you are a fast learner
- Analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.

Education
