Junior Project Manager

You will play an important role in:
Here you will contribute to the execution of our LTSAs for international Customers, who are among the world’s largest marine transportation companies. As one of our Junior Project Managers, you'll play a crucial role in managing a portfolio of large-scale projects. This involves detailed planning, operational oversight, and administrative coordination, ensuring smooth project progression in collaboration with the Project Manager, our Technical Management Team and the Spare Parts & Logistic team.

Your key responsibilities will be:

• Operations Facilitation: You will be part of finding solutions and negotiate operational compromises in regards of operational issues to ensure efficient project progress. You'll be responsible for coordinating efforts across various departments and domain areas, including technical aspects, and following up on actions, such as organizing meetings and managing action items.
• Detailed Project Planning: You will contribute to the overall project planning by creating detailed schedules, coordinating manpower for service jobs worldwide in collaboration with Customers' Vessel Managers, Agents, Chief Engineers, MAN's local offices, and MAN superintendents.
• Financial Oversight: Work alongside the Project Manager in financial tracking and customer invoicing.
• Stakeholder Management: Effectively manage and communicate with internal and external stakeholders, collect technical data, and prepare monthly reports for Customers, summarizing past month activities and outlining plans for the coming months.
• Project Execution Improvements: Actively contribute to and drive initiatives for improving project execution processes, including process mapping and optimization, and maintaining guidelines.
• Team Dynamics: You'll be an integral member of a diverse team, including Project Managers, Technical Advisors, Spare Part & Logistics Coordinators, Engineers, and Business Controllers. While primarily located in Denmark and Singapore, our team's efforts are global.

• Excellent stakeholder management skills, with experience in complex organizational structures.
• Occasional travel may be required.
• You have the ability to identify and understand customer needs and requirements.

Professional Qualifications:

• You hold a technical or commercial degree at the professional bachelor's level or possess equivalent knowledge gained through administrative professional experience.
• You have experience with project management.
• You have experience with maintenance and/or spare parts for marine engines.
• You are an advanced user of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Projects.
• Experience with SAP is a plus but not mandatory.

The LTSA Department is part of MAN Energy Solution’s after sales organization PrimeServ, where we sell spares parts, retrofit solutions, services, training and technical knowhow to our customers. This position will be based in one of our locations in Denmark (Copenhagen, Frederikshavn, Holeby).
