ABOUT THE ROLE
We are expanding our team and looking for a QA Specialist based in Portugal to help us build world-class testing frameworks.
As a QA Specialist, you will work on diverse projects and deliver tailored solutions to our customers. We expect you to enhance our quality assurance processes and collaborate closely with development teams to deliver top-quality solutions.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Analysis and documentation of requirements;
- Help project teams on defining acceptance criteria and use cases based on requirements;
- Step-by-step specification and test cases;
- Providing support to end-users during the UAT (User Acceptance Testing) phase;
- Reporting bugs and defects;
- Helping troubleshoot issues;
- Writing and running test scripts (manual and automated);
- Verifying highly performant websites and applications;
- Performing tests using various web standards, browsers, devices, and frameworks;
- Provide QA support to our Scrum Master and our developers;
- Being an active voice in building our quality process and working with the market's best practices.
- Creating and educating for the QA mindset; the end goal is to promote high-quality delivery within the development team from an end-user perspective.
YOUR DAY-TO-DAY
- You will work on migration projects with new customers and maintenance projects with existing customers;
- You will be frequently working inside a multi-disciplinarian team;
- You will be part of customer experience: maintenance projects help our current customers improve their experiences and create new features in existing websites. It’s all about trust. They trust us, and we help them grow and improve their customer experience of e-commerce
YOUR PROFILE
- Degree in Computer Science or equivalent;
- 3+ years of experience in the Quality Assurance area;
- Experience in web development projects;
- Experience with Functional Tests, System Integration Tests, and Performance Tests;
- Knowledge of one or more Automation Testing Tools (like Selenium, Cucumber, Playwright, Cypress, or others);
- Detail-oriented Person, especially with UX validation;
- ISTQB accreditation (Foundation Level and/or Test Analyst Advanced Level) will be a plus;
- Understanding of agile methodologies and working within an agile environment;
- Experience working with tools like JIRA, and Confluence;
- Be able to work as a team player;
- Knowledge of e-commerce platforms like Salesforce Commerce Cloud and/or Magento will be a plus;
- Good communication skills;
- Fluent in English, writing, and speaking is mandatory.
