Key responsibilities
As our new Marketing & PR Manager for California, you will be the bridge between our regional and head office marketing functions and the local channels to market across. Developing tailored activity for marketing & PR, as well as coordinate the relationship with collaboration partners to plan and implement best-in-class activations. Moreover, you will:
- Establish positioning, identify target audiences, and develop marketing plans with specific targets across different channels (retail and B2B).
- Conceptualize and execute on multi-channel campaigns ensuring the alignment of communications and messaging across all channels.
- Oversee the execution of marketing programs from start to finish, leveraging internal support and driving collaboration.
- Analyse customer insights, consumer trends, market analysis, and marketing best practices to build effective strategies.
- Create, maintain, and conduct analytics reporting across multiple platforms and extract key insights for future campaign development and go-to-market strategies, complete with formal proposals and recommendations on tactics.
- Work in partnership with the creative team, developing creative briefs and guide creative direction for all advertising and public-¬facing communications, including print, digital, and video assets.
- Manage the entire Marketing budget for California, ensuring effective allocation of budget in line with strategy and seamless execution of all marketing & PR initiatives.
- Supervise PR agency and develop relationship with journalists and influencers (product tests, interviews, etc).
- Gather customer and market insights to inform customer acquisition strategies, increase customer conversions, and generate more qualified leads.
- Measure the effectiveness and impact of marketing initiatives with tracking and analysis and optimize accordingly.
What you bring
Our ideal candidate has experience developing and executing marketing campaigns in the high-end / luxury industry while inspiring work counterparts (Bang & Olufsen local, regional, and global teams, distribution partners, brand partners, press, prescribers, and influencers). The candidate will be comfortable with day-to-day marketing activities, as well as long-term strategy, thriving with tight deadlines and changing needs. Moreover, you bring:
- Holistic experience across marketing and PR in the California market, specifically representing a luxury lifestyle brand.
- Master’s degree in marketing, communication or related field.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Proven experience developing marketing plans and campaigns in high-end / luxury environment.
- Experience managing PR agency.
- Experience managing partnership and co-activations with high-end / luxury brands.
- Good project management, multitasking, and decision-making skills.
- Metrics-driven marketing mind with eye for creativity.
- Experience with marketing automation and CRM tools.
- Proficiency with online marketing and social media strategy.
- Established press and media contacts.
What we offer
This role is part of our Americas Market team, who are situated across the United States. This is a well-established team of 30 colleagues across various functions: marketing, retail, B2B, etail and multi-brand. Additionally, you will work in partnership with global teams across marketing, digital and PR. The position will require some travel, mostly in California, regional headquarters in New York and occasionally to Denmark.

Compensation: Competitive salary and benefits package.
