About the role
Paychex Europe is on a dynamic path toward growth, innovation, and market leadership. As a Project Manager within our new Project Management Office (PMO), you’ll play a critical role in realizing this vision. You will lead transformation projects that support our strategy to act and operate as one Paychex Europe and deliver a best-in-class HCM suite. Your work will be central to driving cross-functional, cross-geographic initiatives that align with our ambitious goals in the German market, our expansion plans to new markets, and our mission to bring superior business value through smart, integrated solutions.
What you’ll do
- Project Initiation & Planning: Define project scope and goals, align with Paychex Europe’s strategic pillars, develop comprehensive plans, and identify risks.
- Project Execution: Oversee cross-functional teams, allocate resources, track milestones, and maintain strong communication to keep projects scope on time and on budget.
- Monitoring & Control: Continuously monitor project performance, conduct regular status reviews, apply formal change control processes, and ensure top-notch quality.
- Project Closure: Obtain stakeholder sign-off, conduct lessons-learned sessions, and archive project records to support PMO knowledge sharing.
- PMO Development: Play a direct role in shaping the PMO function within Paychex Europe, helping to refine processes, tools, and best practices as the organization grows.
What you’ll bring
- Experience: Proven experience managing transformation projects, in a cross-functional and multi-geographic set-up.
- Skills: Strong project management expertise (Agile, Waterfall), and expertise in budgeting, risk management, and change control.
- Mindset: Strategic, collaborative, proactive, results- and solutions-oriented with a passion for navigating dynamic, high-growth environments.
- Certification: PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile Scrum Master certification is a plus.
- Language Skills: Proficiency in English is required; knowledge of Danish and German is a plus.
