ABOUT THE JOB
In your role as a Salesforce commerce / Demandware – Sr. Developer, you make the IMPACT we have on our customers measurable. Implement enterprise-grade SFCC including the integration of internal and external apps to deliver an omnichannel experience SFCC B2C / B2B implementation. Understand and perform best coding practices. Perform complex development/integration in SFCC / SFRA Back-end. Demonstrate solid domain expertise in Retail, eCommerce B2C / B2B.
You work for leading brands within the commerce practice and feel at home in a challenging, international environment in which you collaborate with other experts and support them.
Your responsibilities will be:
- Ensuring the software quality agreed with the client.
- Taking lead and delegating tasks on a larger project.
- Participate in kickoff meetings together with the client and team members.
- To balance customers’ requirements, deadlines, resources, and technical solutions.
- Ensure the correct technical and commercial documentation of the solution.
- Ensure the progress of sprints.

YOUR PROFILE
A seasoned professional with 4-6 years of industry experience with a spread of 5-7 years of web development experience with an emphasis on e-commerce platform implementations. 4+ years of experience supporting/Enhancing E-commerce solutions and experience in designing, implementing, and migrating E-commerce solutions.
Technology: SFCC B2C architecture, implementation, and rollout experience Enterprise-grade implementation of SFCC, including the integration of internal and external apps to deliver an omnichannel experience. Hands-on in the backend code of SFCC. We assume You are an expert in
- Design, develop, and implement scalable and maintainable SFCC solutions.
- Create and customize storefronts using Salesforce Commerce Cloud's B2C modules, including integrations, controllers, and jobs.
- Extend and enhance SFRA (Storefront Reference Architecture) features to meet project requirements.
- Develop and manage third-party integrations, such as payment gateways, ERP, CRM, and other external APIs.
- Identify performance bottlenecks and optimize storefront performance.
- Implement caching strategies and other mechanisms to ensure seamless user experience.
- Strong understanding of SFCC data models, cartridges, and pipelines.
- Experience with REST and SOAP APIs, integrating third-party systems.
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Git, and Bitbucket.
- Familiarity with headless commerce and modern front-end technologies like React, Angular, or Vue.js is a plus.
- Soft skills: Very good verbal and written communication. Ability to explain a concept clearly to stakeholders of different types and levels.
