Own the overall performance and customer satisfaction, putting safety first, delivering “best in class” experience and improving profitability.
Job Description
Main responsibilities
- Lead and direct the Project Team & coordinate related function (engineering, planning, quality, construction, CM) to control the operations activities in strict adherence to the processes and procedures as directed with a high priority applied to EHS elements and activities.
- All GSI projects are delivered to specification, budget and on time, thus ensuring customer satisfaction and business objectives for sales turnover, contract contractual margin and cash targets are met.
- Measure, optimise and report along Grid Solutions pacing cycles the key operational indicators of the project portfolio.
- Support settlements & claims in accordance with contracts.
- Analyse root cause of deviations and fosters continuous improvement. Ensure deployment of Grid Solutions process & tools.
- Maintain contact with key customers at senior level as appropriate to deal with any significant dissatisfaction issues.
- Maintain contact with key suppliers / partners at senior level to secure projects performance in conjunction with the sourcing community.
- Work alongside the Commercial Organisation in order to ensure business reaching order intake objectives.
- GSI site leader, supervisory role that provide direct or indirect leadership for overall unit operation, including leadership for operations in which activities are centralised and for shared resources to execute customer projects
Qualifications / Requirements
- Electrical and/or mechanical engineering degree with extensively demonstrated years of experience in Transmission and Distribution sector.
- Experience in EPC Project management with direct team management responsibility.
- Business understanding (market knowledge in area of work, intl. exposure & awareness).
- An exceptional ability to drive change.
- Ability to influence others and lead large teams.
- Ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously.
- Effective problem identification and solution skills.
- Fluent in English.
- Available to travel.
