Working Capital - Head of Technical Sales

As part of Danske Bank’s Forward´28 strategy, we are growing our Working Capital Advisory & Finance team with additional people. Working Capital management is key for corporates to optimise their working capital, free up liquidity and manage their risk.

Be a part of the team
You will be part of the Working Capital Advisory & Finance (WCA), which are the product specialist supporting Danske Bank’s largest customers with working capital solutions. We offer a wide range of solutions to our customers from Supply Chain Finance and Factoring to Invoice Discounting. Our team is today 14 people and growing with a diverse background with the shared vision of serving customers. WCA is part of Transaction Banking in Large Corporates & Institution, but serves customer from the largest corporates to mid-sized across the Nordics countries.

In this role, you will among other things be responsible for:

• Team leader for 7-8 employees across the Nordics
• Develop the team, both employees and the team’s area of responsibilities
• Proactively propose improvements to way of working
• Sparring with colleagues on how to structure and implement new customer solutions

Team leader for the Technical Sales team within WCA will be a newly established role with the aim of providing more leadership support to the team with a focus on developing the team for the future as well as structuring and harmonising our way of working. Technical Sales are a vital part of the working capital value chain and should over time be the center of expertise for working capital within Danske Bank.

What you’ll need to succeed
We are looking for a proactive colleague with a vision of growing your leadership skills. You are emphatic person that strives by building a solid team. You might have experience from working capital, cash management or other client service areas within banking, but not required. You bring a positive mindset and excel in a hectic and changing environment.

Your background:

• Experience with working capital, cash management or banking in general is beneficial
• Leadership experience is not required, but an asset
• You might have experience from business development, strategy, transformation or the like and looking for your first leadership role
• Collaborative, energetic, proactive and open to new opportunities

What we offer
You will be joining a diverse and innovative team with different backgrounds and skillset. Our team located across the Nordics so some travel will be expected.

You will have the flexibility of working from home, although we appreciate you to be present in the office 3-4 days per week.
