You will join the Global Safety & Resilience teams comprising more than 600 people globally and more than 40 people in Copenhagen – this is also where you will be located. The team consist of fun-loving and hard-working professionals working in the field of Security, Safety, Health, Environment, Business Resilience, Crisis Management and Dangerous Goods. We have big plans for logistics and services in Maersk and to enable this from a Safety & Resilience perspective, we need to move even closer to our customers. We are therefore growing our capacity, capabilities, and systems to enable safer and more secure deliveries into the integrator strategy. To achieve this, we have established a Safety & Resilience Transformation Program to manage specific improvement projects and initiatives within logistics and services, and this is where we need you!
WE OFFER:
We are looking for one student assistant to support the HSE & Transformation Program team in Safety & Resilience, which manages the portfolio of global projects for the share observations with relevant internal stakeholders. The key element for success in this position is having the right attitude and the willingness to learn.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support the HSE & Transformation Program: in the team’s efforts regarding Communications, Stakeholder Management, Marketing, etc.
- Conduct research and gather data: Help with collecting and analyzing information for various projects.
- Prepare reports and presentations: Create documents and presentations to support team meetings and stakeholder interactions.
- Manage social media and online presence: Assist in updating and maintaining the teams social media accounts and website (Viva Engage, SharePoint)
- Coordinate events and meetings: Help organize team events, meetings, and other activities.
- Learn and adapt to new tasks: Be willing and able to take on new responsibilities and learn new skills as needed.WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
- Above all, a “Sponge Octopus” attitude - willing to absorb new learnings at speed while able to collaborate and support on a number of tasks for the team.
- Someone highly structured and systematic.
- A quick learner who is self-driven and flexible.
- Someone fluent in English who likes being part of a team.
- A well-versed user of Office365. (Work, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Knowledge of the latest tech trends and how to apply them to daily work (i.e. Artificial Intelligence)
- Understanding and experience with Security, HSE or Business Resilience is an advantage.
- Enrolled into Master studies
