As our new Junior Purchaser you will join a team of 12 colleagues located in Esbjerg and abroad.
Your primary responsibilities and tasks will consist of the following:
• Responsible for sourcing pharmaceuticals from one or more European countries.
• Build and maintain great professional relations with suppliers to ensure forecast fulfilment at needed target prices.
• Make decisions based on forecast, margin and stock level.
• Work independently, but it is important to always align and collaborate with your team and other stakeholders, such as Sales and Product Development.
• Travel to suppliers and trade fairs (approx. 20-30 days per year).
Who are you?
We are searching for a candidate with a commercial background, preferably within Procurement, Supply Chain Management or similar.
But most important is it that:
• You have a positive attitude and a "can do" approach.
• You can make decisions based on several data input whilst being aware of some degree of uncertainty.
• You are ambitious, and you see change as a positive thing.
• You have a problem-solving and curious attitude.
• You are fluent in English. Any other European languages will be beneficial.
