Your role and responsibilities
The backbone of our capability in Operations is the competence within Project Delivery and Service Delivery. The position as Project Delivery Owner manages PAEN project governance obligations for a dedicated project portfolio. Project Delivery Owner plays an increasingly important role in our business, with ambitions to strengthen governance and the executional capability in projects in-house and at construction- and offshore sites domestic and abroad. We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated colleague who can own a portfolio of projects, further develop project governance and coach and support team in the Energy Security segment in close collaboration with the Project Delivery/Operations team and Sales. The Project Delivery Owner is responsible for the success for own Project portfolio maintaining and developing the Project Delivery unit’s capability of performing projects within the responsibility of PAEN Norway. Drive project portfolio performance to ensure the best revenue and cost outcome, safety, integrity, quality, on-time delivery, competence, and capacity requirements are met. Contribute to drive continuous improvement activities across teams to improve project execution, competitiveness and profitability. Cooperation with sales in the bidding process to secure a strong project portfolio. The Project Delivery Owner reports to the Head of Segment – Energy Security and is part of the Project Delivery extended Management team. To succeed in this role, you need to be a team player with a positive attitude motivating yourself and others. You are supportive and a good sparring partner for the Project Managers. You also have a strong desire to develop and secure our projects and business with a good mind set.
Qualifications for the role
- Higher education within Project Management, or other relevant education
- Minimum 5 years relevant experience from management, project execution, sales or engineering
- Strong oral and written communication skills in English and Norwegian
- Leadership skills and ability to lead and develop high performing teams
- Commercial and analytical skills
- Show seniority at management/escalation level in communication with Clients
